Jobs You Can Do In Canada Without A Work Permit

Clergy

An immigrant who is an ordained minister, a member of a religious group, or a layperson may work in Canada without a work permit.

Crew Member

Foreign nationals who work as truck drivers, shipping, bus driver, or airline workers could qualify for jobs in Canada if two conditions are met.

Business Visitor

Aviation Accident or Incident Investigator

Students Working on Campus

If you are an immigrant studying in Canada, you are eligible for an exemption to the work permit requirement so that you can work on the campus of your institution. You can hold a job of up to 20 hours per week during study hours and full–time during holiday periods.
